Several homes I have closed have been financed through the US Department of Agriculture Rural Housing Program but the program was out of money by the end of April this year
Because of the rural location of the Page Lake Powell area we qualify for Department of Agriculture loans – USDA Loans – which are 100% financing with no down payment . There is a 3.5% loan guarantee fee, which can be financed into the loan as well. Homes must qualify as well as the buyer and the loans can not be used on manufactured housing.
The bill to re-fund the program is headed to the Presidents desk this week. This is great news if you are looking for a home in the Lake Powell area.
