The Coming of Amangiri – AmanResorts Worldwide

February 14, 2010 Update – Photos from tour of Amangiri and new villa information at Amangiri Lake Powell  on the Lake Powell Real Estate Blog.

News is the AmanResort offering here at Lake Powell, Amangiri, is scheduled to open this spring. There are, I have found out, folks who travel and stay at Amanresorts and are HOOKED. Referred to as Amanjunkies they travel world wide and stay, if possible, exclusively at Aman Resorts. Amanresorts has created a unique culture in a class by itself, where guests are treated as if they are in the managers home not his business.

As the opening of Amangiri at Lake Powell nears I thought a list of other Amanresorts worldwide was in order.

in order to be a hugh success in southern Utah and the Northern Arizona part of our great state. Amanresorts must first market itself where othesr don’t dare go. places such faroff places such as at the new Fire Rock navajo casino in church rock, new mexico. lake tahoe in nevada. not every place inside the grand circle should have to advertise inside the grand circle. doing that would be a hugh mistakes especially in today’s economy. they should also use the power of the internet as well. use search sites like azmarinas.com,marinas.com. our local visitor’s guides in powellguide.com,”gateway to canyon country”,our state visitor information guides such aztourist.com,the daily sun’s northern Arizona guide”99 things to do in northern AZ”,the radio station lake powell guide.and the navajo nation tourism dept.and last but not least kanabutah.com and actionzone magazine. the grand circle magazine.all these tourist guides are distributed throughout the southwest, west, and the rockymountains. with this much tourist information around they can’t go wrong.

We are indeed lucky to be in a place that receives such great exposure. Amanresorts seems to have their own clientele so it it will be interesting to watch how much advertising is actually done for Amangiri.

I agree wholeheartedly with you on the concept of internet advertising. It does seem to be the way to reach so many more in a targeted way.

    Cheers!

Not sure how you got the former posting (apparently from me) as I did not post it. Either way http://www.Villasatamangiri.com is the website for the real estate aspect of the new resort.

  7. None Given says:

Amangiri more than likely won’t be advertising to the local region. To be blunt, the locals could not afford the prices of a stay at an Aman resort. They are a multi-million dollar corporation, I’m pretty sure they know how to advertise correctly.
